26th Annual Alberta Biomedical Engineering (AB BME) Conference

The 26th Annual Alberta Biomedical Engineering (AB BME) Conference, taking place October 24– 26, 2025, in Canmore, Alberta, is set to be a cornerstone event for Canada’s biomedical engineering community. This student-led conference, a joint effort between the University of Calgary, University of Alberta, and University of Saskatchewan, provides an essential forum for students to present innovative research. Last year’s conference featured an impressive 106 poster presentations and 36 oral presentations, highlighting the strength and diversity of biomedical engineering research across Western Canada. Abstract submission opens July 1st, 2025, with an initial submission deadline of Friday, August 15th, 2025, at 12:00 pm (noon) MDT.
